lttl tools Privacy Policy

This policy explains how lttl tools (“the App”) handles your information. The App has no ads, no accounts, no analytics and no tracking.

What the App collects

We do not collect, store or receive any personal information. The App has no internet access, so nothing it reads can leave your device.

Location (compass true north only)

The compass works with magnetic north and needs no permissions. If you turn on true north, the App asks for your device’s approximate location to calculate the difference between magnetic and true north in your area. That location is saved only on your device and is used for nothing else.

Sensors and flashlight

The compass and level read the device’s motion and magnetic sensors only while they are on screen. The flashlight turns on your camera’s flash; the App never takes photos or uses the camera image.

Data stored on your device

Settings such as the ruler adjustment, the level’s zero point and the flashlight brightness are stored only on your device. Android may include them in your device’s own backup if you have backups turned on. Uninstalling the App deletes them.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If the way the App handles data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top before releasing that version.
